A few from older sessions… August 21, 2009

I had quite a few sessions from before I had a blog and thought I would share a few of the images. Instead of making a post for each session, I’ll just throw them all here.    : )  Bear with me, this could get long.

My first guinea pigs (other than my children) were my little cousins from Dallas. They were great subjects. However, I look at some of these images and can already tell I have come a long way since then! I love these kids, they are so great! We just hopped around Midland (and asked a ridiculously rich man if we could pose in his yard) and snapped away!

I can’t wait until they come back to Midland again. I know my new skills (lol) will make for an ever better session!

Cacy,  a good friend of mine, was next. She came over and we had fun taking maternity pictures. Baby Addison is due in just 4 days, but if my intuition is right, she’ll come today! I had August 21st picked out for awhile now! Come on, Addison! Here are a few pictures from that shoot:

Alright baby Addison, come out and let us meet you today!

My lifelong friend, Kenzie’s little man was next. Drake is a spitting image of his daddy. We didn’t get any family shots this time, but I promise you’ll be seeing this little man (and his parents) again. He is SO cute!

I could probably post all of his, photogenic little man! But, I’ll stop there. He is my future son-in-law, he and Ellie don’t know it yet though. ; )

This was a fun maternity shoot with Cody and Ashley. Cody is a firefighter, which you’ll be able to tell from the pictures. Ashley is due in just about a week with  baby Hudson. Here are a couple of my favorite shots from that session:

I can’t wait to meet little Hudson!

And these will make you say “awwww”.  I got to photograph baby Parker when she was only 3 weeks old. She slept the entire time and never made a peep!

Isn’t she sweet? I also made her birth announcement with these photographs. Don’t forget to ask about them if you are pregnant or have a newborn.

As you can tell, I was pretty inconsistent with my watermark (the logo you see on the photograph, or some of them!) and the web border back then. All of my newer posts (like the engagement session below) will be watermarked with my stamp and have a web black border. I’m very appreciate of all the people who let me practice on them, thanks! I will be adding more  of my old sessions in a new post.
